Wine for the People's Dandy Rosé 2020

What I’m looking for in a rosé is pretty simple (but specific). I want it to have refreshing acidity. I want it to have intense aromas and flavors. And, most importantly, I want it to taste good.

Granted, these are just my personal parameters, but you’d be surprised at how many common rosés this rules out. When I encounter a rosé that checks all these boxes, though, I’m a fan for life.

This Dandy Texas Rosé 2020 is a perfect example of what I’m looking for in a rosé. It has lively acidity that animates the wine without any unpleasant tartness. It is super aromatic and has notes of strawberry candy, grapefruit, raspberry, fresh garden tomato, and butterscotch. And, of course, it’s totally yummy and I immediately wanted a second glass.

What do you look for in a rosé?
