This Dandy Bubbles Rosé 2018 by Wine for the People was all of the above.
It was a stunning medium salmon in the glass with notes of biscuits, almond, grapefruit, strawberry, and raspberry. The clear lees influence combined with the juicy red fruit notes reminded me of a strawberry shortcake, and this wine was a real treat as a result! This sparkling wine was made in the traditional method and was unfiltered and unfined, leaving plenty of flavour to enjoy. This is such a fun-loving wine made to share with friends on a warm afternoon.
