During a recent trip to Austin, I asked several friends to join me for a visit and tasting at Texas AVA Tasting Room, a wine tasting room shared by Wine for the People and C.L. Butaud, two Texas wine producers doing some incredible things.
If you are having any doubts that Texas terroir can produce some truly incredible wines, the wines of Randy Hester of C.L. Butaud and Rae Wilson of Wine for the People will turn you into a true believer. Along with my friends, I was wowed by the quality, precision, and deliciousness captured in each bottle.
